Hi. I'm Chad Adams. 40 years old. Wall Street, 20+ years. Husband. Former D1 athlete. Glass knees, broken neck, torn pecs — a body rebuilt after doctors said the lifting was over.

I built and ran a medical optimization clinic. I'm not a 25-year-old influencer with abs and a ring light. I'm a guy who had to figure this out the hard way — then built a team and a system so you don't.

The low point

  • An unnecessary knee surgery I should have never agreed to.
  • Years of damage from training the wrong way — torn pecs, broken neck, glass knees.
  • Got to the point where I could barely walk down a flight of stairs.
  • Doctors told me my lifting days were behind me.

Today

725 lb squat.

On the knees they said were finished. Pain-free. Stronger than I was in college. Walking, lifting, training — all of it.

Same body. Different system.

The swing

Then I overcorrected. Both directions.

01
The start
295 lbs

Strong but broken at heavy weight.

02
The GLP-1 cut
255 lbs

Couldn't hit protein. Watched muscle disappear with the fat.

03
The overshoot
325 lbs

Bulked back to recover what I lost. Overcorrected.

04
Today
Recomp

Adding muscle. Losing fat. Gaining strength. All at once.

Weight loss is not fat loss. I had to swing in both directions to learn the difference — so my clients don't have to.

The bench behind the system

I didn't build this alone.

A board-certified ER physician, four exercise specialists, and four dietitians independently reviewed the framework. Their input shaped what we built.

If I can do it, you can do it.

The whole point of Strength After 30 is to hand you the playbook I had to bleed for — without the bleeding.
